Account Based Marketing Manager

Permanent position

A new role of Account Based Marketing Manager has been created to support one of our biggest clients.  This highly influential role will work very closely with the Account Development and Commercial Teams. You will be responsible for the growth, engagement, and retention of their client account, of both our rewards and benefits platform and in the future the introduction of our protection (insurance) products.

The successful applicant will be a superb marketer with a proven track record on B2B and B2C acquisition and retention campaigns, experience ideally gained from the Insurance and Benefits sector. The client is responsible for acquisition (as a reseller) however,  this role will support the entire customer journey B2B and B2C from acquisition onwards.  The manager will also be expected to add value to the acquisition strategy with the client if requested.

The client is a FTSE 100 organisation and a re-seller of our Employee Benefits platform and APP. The role will be responsible for liaising directly with our key client and then creating a development and retention plan for the end-user clients (B2B) and employees (B2C) within the UK SME Market,

Working alongside senior colleagues in Marketing and Commercial Teams both at Personal Group and directly with the client, you will deliver strategic planning and tactical go-to-market campaigns, covering the whole marketing mix, to grow and retain our existing Client’s end user market.

The focus of the Account Based Marketing Manager will be to develop the strategy and campaigns to work strategically with our key client to facilitate increasing development, retention, engagement of end users and monetization of the platform – creating value and ensuring ongoing renewals.  The client currently operates a three-month freemium model, and a key focus is ensuring these free trial customers move to the paid product at the end of the trial.

Personal Group is a matrix organisation, reporting to the Head of Marketing you will work with marketing colleagues (digital, brand, content, research etc) to develop multi-channel campaigns and be supported by a shared Marketing Executive resource. You will form a key part of a Management Team for the client. Working autonomously you will be expected to make key decisions to drive business.

Salary is up to £50,000 depending on experience.
