Supporting employees with gambling problems
Last week, ahead of the new Premier League season, our Chief Executive Deborah Frost shared her views with People Management on the important role employers can play in supporting their employees struggling with gambling debts. As income providers, employers play a pivotal role in supporting such employees by providing emotional wellbeing support, for example through an employee assistance programme (EAP), and practical financial support such as fair value loans and financial education to help employees tackle the financial implications once they feel emotionally ready.
