One in four people suffer from a diagnosable mental health condition in any one year, and one in six workers
With over 31 million people in work in the UK, around five million employees could be suffering from mental health issues each year. So why not take a proactive, and preventative, approach to your employees' mental health? Make sure your HR department is aware of the services that the NHS has to offer and have them relay this information to the rest of the workforce.
Mental wellbeing cannot be looked at in isolation, if an employee is suffering in one area of their life it will often manifest itself in other areas. To ensure employees have access to all the help they need, you should consider implementing a truly all-inclusive health and wellness programme that acknowledges and supports employees with their mental, physical and financial wellbeing issues.
