Personal Group was founded over 35 years ago and has since grown to become a trusted and respected provider of the latest employee benefits and wellbeing products in addition to employee focussed healthcare cash plans.
The Group started its life as Personal Assurance Ltd in 1984, launching their insurance Hospital Plan before moving into the world of employee benefits, becoming Personal Group Holdings in 1997. The next year, the very grass roots of the later Hapi platform would begin to form as the Group launched their first employee discount programme, as well as a new Death Benefit insurance plan to protect employees.
Personal Group became AIM listed in 2000, moved into new offices in Milton Keynes the next year, and has gone from strength to strength ever since. In the past decade alone, the Group has created their innovative, customisable employee services platform and app, Hapi, worked with over 600 clients, and built life-changing partnerships with charities such as the Memusi Foundation to help raise millions in funds for those in need. They also acquired employee benefits and tech company Let’s Connect in 2014 before bringing into the fold one of the UK’s leading independent reward consultancies, Innecto, in March 2019.
Innecto joined the Personal Group family in March 2019. The company was founded in 2002 and is the largest independent pay and reward consultancy in the UK, annually providing support to over 100 companies, from large multi-nationals through to dynamic high-growth SMEs.
Specialists in their field, Innecto provide creative and commercially focused talent and reward solutions to help clients get pay and reward working harder. Blending the expertise and commerciality associated with ‘the big 4’ with the passion and flexibility seen in smaller consultancies, the organisation has become the trusted partner for their high-profile, global client list.
Let's Connect was founded in 2009 and have been part of Personal Group since 2014. They specialise in providing technology employee benefits, offering staff the latest consumer technology, spreading the cost through their salary, either by salary sacrifice or by net pay arrangement. Their services include branded, bespoke marketing collateral, a secure ordering platform, reporting and management information and a UK-based helpdesk to support employees for the duration of the scheme.
Their clients include organisations across both the public and private sectors.
